Judy Dyjak is the Operations Vice President of Growth Horizons for Montgomery County. She has over 37 years of experience developing and providing supports for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to live successfully in the community.
Judy joined Growth Horizons in 1979 as a Direct Care Staff supporting adults with I/DD in apartment living. Through her career she was promoted to a variety of supervisory positions providing her the opportunity to create residential programs in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. In 1986, she specialized in developing residential services for adults diagnosed with I/DD and Mental Illness with challenging behaviors. Judy was Editor of the Growth Horizons Newsletter, participated on a variety of committees to develop policy and procedures and chaired the Training Committee, developing the first pre service training program and the Periodic Service Review Committee, focused on measuring the quality of services provided in our Community Living Arrangements.
Judy earned her BS degree in Human Services from Drexel University. Over the past 12 years she has enjoyed supporting our consumers to volunteer by delivering Meals on Wheels.
